I felt in love with Brazil from the very first visit in 2008. Since then there has been a lot of back and forth in this love affair. I cannot imagine anyone not getting carried away by this colourful country, its mystical landscapes, vibrant culture and amazing people. Brazil is an all year round country. I can see it changing year after year I am visiting. Still its qualities that makes this country so appealing to travellers stay intact. If you are visiting for the first time, go in October/November (Brazil’s spring time). The temperatures are just right, the tourist crowds are minimal and you get the opportunity to really blend with the local rhythm and appreciate its normal pace away from high season and tourist flocks. You get the opportunity to see Brazil as it really is. When you have made this introductory visit, and you wish to go back (because you definitely will) then opt for carnival season.
